Bio
Watch Ann-Christine Nyquist, M.D., a pediatrician, pediatric infectious disease specialist and professor. She takes care of patients at a children’s hospital; she also teaches at a school of medicine. Her favorite part is that she’s never bored. She appreciates the opportunity to teach the next generation and inspire young girls who want to become physicians. She tells them what her journey has been and how they can do it. Ann-Christine advises young girls to find out what makes them tick and what drives them forward. Girls have special talents and should consider a career in medicine, she says, because they can do whatever they want to do.
