Bio
Watch Carolyn Green, Geologist with Shell Oil Company, share how her love of rainbows and other natural phenomena led to a career in science, and how her grandmother prepared her as a child, to face her biggest fear as an adult - public speaking. Although she loves studying the entire Earth, one of her favorite geological areas are the beaches and carbonates of the Caribbean Islands, and her favorite mineral is carbon in the form of diamonds. She's had many memorable work experiences, including seeing a herd of elephants in Gabon.
