Watch Erin Cox, president, uAspire share how her non-profit organization works to ensure that all young people have the financial information and resources necessary to find an affordable path to – and through – a postsecondary education. The most rewarding part of her job is getting to witness the growth and development of the students in their program. uAspire was a finalist in MIT’s Inclusive Innovation Competition 2016 for developing a text system to communicate with their students. Her advice to girls is to think differently about failure. When you fail, look at it as an opportunity to learn and grow. Don’t let it make you reluctant to take on new challenges.
