Bio
Watch Wendy Harmic, Chief Engineer for George Washington University’s School of Media and Public Affairs, share how she combined her love of theater with an aptitude for math and science into a career as a broadcast engineer. She gained valuable experience as the first women engineer at NFL Films, and now is responsible for the technical operations of a major media facility. Her position requires quick thinking to troubleshoot and solve problems under pressure, and she credits an old theater trick of deep breathing to stay calm under high stress.
