Watch Tina Fernandez, Founding Executive Director of Achieve Atlanta. Her organization’s goal is to help every student that graduates from Atlanta public schools to go on to college. The most rewarding part of her work is knowing that she is helping so many young people live out their dreams. Tina thinks that girls should consider being social entrepreneurs because they can create an organization that fits their needs, both in their professional and personal lives. Her advice to girls is to believe, expect, and achieve – believe in yourself, expect excellence, and envision the life you want to have so that you can make it happen.
