Watch Shreya Dave, Ph.D., mechanical engineer and co-founder of a nanotech start-up share how her desire to help the environment was a key reason for focusing her research on developing nano-membranes which could help water shortages by making it more economically feasible to convert salt water to drinkable water. She earned her Bachelor’s and Doctorate degrees at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and one of the best things about going to college was being around students who were proud to be smart. She wished she had been proud to be smart back in elementary school.
