Bio
Watch Emilia Morosan, Ph.D., Assistant Professor in Physics, Astronomy and Chemistry at Rice University discuss her important research on superconductivity and how we use physics in our everyday life. She was recognized in 2010 as a recipient of the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers, the highest honor bestowed by the US on scientists and engineers in the early stages of their independent research careers. She credits learning to cook as a child with her mother for developing skills she uses in material synthesis today.
