Watch Dr. Samantha Kaplan, M.D., MPH, an Obstetrician Gynecologist and Assistant Dean in the Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs at Boston University School of Medicine, share how her job includes encouraging diversity in the medical profession, performing surgeries on women, and delivering babies. On a typical workday, she might deliver anywhere between 3 and 11 babies. Growing up, she studied dance. Although she excelled at math and science, she majored in English literature at Yale University.
