Watch Elizabeth Travis, Ph.D. Associate Vice President for Women Faculty Programs and Mattie Allen Fair Professor of Cancer Research at MD Anderson Cancer Center, share her insights on the important work she does to open doors for women in science and medicine. She connected with science as a young girl and tells us how there were teachers at every step of her educational and professional training who encouraged her to pursue her passion. Over the course of her career, she has contributed greatly to the understanding of radiation in the treatment of cancer. In addition to being a noted scientist, she is also an avid dancer.
