Smart Giving – DAFs
What is a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF)?
A Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is a charitable giving account that allows you to support your favorite causes in a tax-efficient and flexible way. When you contribute to a DAF, you receive an immediate tax deduction for the full amount of your donation. The funds are then invested and can grow tax-free, giving you more resources to support the nonprofits you care about over time.
With a DAF, you have the flexibility to recommend grants to eligible charities whenever it fits your philanthropic goals—whether it’s a one-time donation or ongoing support. Many DAFs also offer tools to track your giving and help you make a bigger impact. It’s a simple, strategic way to manage your charitable contributions and make a lasting difference.
