Empowerment Lesson Video: Empathy

Supplies:

Career Girls handouts with questions. Cut the cards out in advance.
Scissors

Video Discussion:

Tell students they will be watching the video titled Empathy. Explain that the video presents role models talking about empathy and its importance in everyday life.

Ask students to listen for the reasons that role models think empathy is important. Then view the video together.

Activity Instructions:

Using the prepared cards, have each student draw a question from the cards and read the question aloud. Have the group discuss ‘How would you feel/what would you do?’, based on the situation.
