Business Model & IPO Bootcamp 2021
Girls attending the Career Girls Business Model & IPO Bootcamp learned about creating a business, what it means to go public (IPO), how to take control of your financial future and how to negotiate – all from women experts thriving in those fields.
This camp consisted of five, one-hour sessions geared towards ages 10-14, via Zoom, to earn a Career Girls Business Model & IPO Bootcamp Certificate of Completion.
Thank you to all of our individual donors and volunteers who made this a free event for all girls who attended.
“I would like to give a shoutout to all of them!! The role models were so kind and encouraging!”
“I would like to give a shoutout to everyone for such an amazing camp! It has opened many doors for me and I felt really inspired in the last breakout room with Beth!”
“I will work harder in my studies and extracurricular activities so more companies will want to hire me and I can have the chance to negotiate terms to fit myself better. I also want to have myself grounded and labelled positively in the company.”
“I liked the whole thing, but I loved hearing from the president of the New York Stock Exchange.”
“I think everyone was amazing. I learned the first steps to create a successful business and I also learned some of the roles you need in a business that I did not know before.”
