Bio
Watch Salena Whitfield, Ph.D., Manager, Strategy and Corporate Development Group for the St. Louis based chemical company Sigma Aldrich, discuss her role in developing new products and services and identifying companies for mergers and acquisitions. She also shares with us her passion for running and how she is able to combine being an athlete with a busy and demanding career. She earned her undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from Florida A&M University before earning both her Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Chemistry from the University of Michigan. She also has a Certificate degree in Science, Technology and Public Policy.
