Bio
Watch Imelda Reyes, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Assistant Professor at Emory University School of Nursing, share how she enjoys teaching her students what she liked the most about caring for patients – getting to know them and their families, taking good histories, and figuring out how to keep them healthy. She loves math and tells girls not to be afraid of it. Math opens doors and teaches problem solving skills that will be valuable in any career. Her advice to girls is to respect yourself. Also, don’t be afraid to ask questions. If you see someone doing something interesting or that you would like to know more about, ask them a question.
