Bio
Watch Jacqueline Piccolino, a soprano in the Merola Opera Program and an Adler Fellow with the San Francisco Opera, share how she saw her first opera at age 16 and six years later received rave reviews for her performance as “Stella” in “Tales of Hoffman” on the SF Opera stage. Watch her demonstrate breathing and vocal exercises that girls can practice at home, and learn how she begins her preparation for new singing roles by first translating the entire opera into English. Be sure to check out her amazing voice in the "Why I Love Madame Butterfly" clip.
