Bio
Watch Blen Sahilu, an attorney and Advisor to the President of Ethiopia. In her role, she works with government agencies as an advisor, designing strategy and projects to make women's lives better. The most rewarding part of her work is seeing the changes that are occurring as people are beginning to understand women's issues and take them seriously. Blen says girls should consider a career in women's rights advocacy because it is deeply rewarding and very necessary for the world we live in. Her advice to girls is to be kind, as kindness and empathy are at the root of all positive change.
