Bio
Watch Maggie Tokuda-Hall, author of “And Also an Octopus” share tips on how to become a published writer and what it's like to be the Children’s Department Director for Books, Inc, where she coordinates school programming, in-store events and trains the children’s book specialists. Her book teaches kids about how to build stories, and features an octopus who wants to fly in a spaceship. She became a writer for the very reason that she loves reading: the best writing helps readers to understand that whatever their experiences, they are not alone.
