Bio
Watch Geeta Mehta, an architect and urban designer who teaches at Columbia University in New York. She also runs a non-profit called Asia Initiatives, which she created to help underprivileged women in South Asia, actualize their dreams and fulfill their potential. The most rewarding part of her work is seeing the women improve their lives and become ambassadors and role models in their communities. Geeta says that girls should consider a career in architecture because it is a fun and creative job where you use technology to help create the vision in your mind. Her advice to girls is to have faith in yourself and know that you can accomplish anything that you dream.
