Bio
Watch Tigist Yeshiwas Engdaw, Assistant Professor in Peace and Conflict Studies at the Institute for Peace and Security Studies, Addis Ababa University. The most rewarding part of her work is teaching young women to become the next generation of leaders. Tigist says that girls should work in peace and conflict because solutions to challenges cannot be effective if they aren’t inclusive of women. Her advice to girls is to believe in themselves and always be open to learning.
