Her advice to girls is to embrace math. Learning math is critical to having a career in science, but it is also useful outside of the realm of science. Girls should also develop strong public speaking skills. In a career like hers, it's important to be able to effectively communicate your ideas to the public as well as specialized audiences such as potential investors.
