Watch Unoma Okorafor, Ph.D., a computer engineer and a social impact entrepreneur, talks about her passion for encouraging young girls to learn coding. With coding as a foundation, girls can go on to develop technologies to solve global issues in emerging economies, especially in Africa. Unoma is always thinking about ways to use technology to solve problems faced in Africa, ranging from the health industry to education. The most rewarding thing about the work she does is empowering a girl to think of herself as being a change agent, as having value, and possessing a voice that is worth hearing.
