Bio
Watch Courtnay Tyus, Executive Director, Development and Institutional Advancement, Charter High School for Architecture and Design (CHAD) in Philadelphia, share how she successfully navigated an unexpected career change from an attorney in the corporate world to working for a popular and innovative high school that uses a completely design-based curriculum. For example, students learn Spanish by drawing words in a notebook and learn physics by designing a car from a block of wood. She also loves crafting custom jewelry to feed her creative side.
