Bio
Watch Tara Taylor, lead digital designer at WGBH in Boston, share how she discovered her passion for design after taking a college class in high school. She had always loved art, but realized that she enjoyed deciding where to put different elements on the page more so than actually drawing them. WGBH is the largest producer of PBS content in the country, and in her job she creates websites and digital games for children’s shows such as “Arthur”, “Curious George”, and “Plum Landings”. She encourages girls to think about careers in user experience (UX) design because it allows you to use creativity with coding skills and it is a career that is in high demand.
