Watch Cecilia Rouse, Ph.D., Economist and the Lawrence and Shirley Katzman and Lewis and Anna Ernst Professor in the Economics of Education and Professor of Economics and Public Affairs at Princeton University, share her experiences as a former member of President Obama’s Council of Economic Advisers and President Clinton’s National Economic Council. We learn about the interesting economic questions she has researched in her career and their impact on public policy at the highest levels of government. She earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Harvard University before joining the faculty at Princeton. We also learn about her favorite research study, which compares the success rate for women musicians who audition behind a screen versus those who don’t.
