She works with perfumers and graphic designers to create luxury candles inspired by the Harlem Renaissance in New York in the 1920s. The most rewarding part of her work is sharing the history behind the beautiful products that enhance people’s lives. Teri says that girls should consider being entrepreneurs if they are a self-starter and want to have control over their career paths. Her advice to girls is to believe in yourself, trust your intuition, and don’t be afraid to try.
