Bio
Watch Dr. Arletta Brinson, a retired Executive Director of Student Services in a large urban school district. She found the most rewarding aspect of her job was supporting students and their families. Dr. Brinson thinks that girls should consider a career in education because there are so many different roles to fill – teachers, counselors, nurses, social workers, and more. No matter what your interest is, you can probably find a place to pursue it in education. Her advice to girls is to make sure you have a wonderful tribe of people in your life who will support you and help you to grow.
