Watch Almetria Vaba, Project Supervisor for Education at KQED, share how she works with teachers to help bring PBS educational media into the classroom to make lessons more engaging and exciting. She majored in performing arts in college, and earlier in her career she was an actor and also a producer for the Quiz Kids TV show. She encourages girls to think about podcasting as a way to have a voice on topics they care about and suggests some ways to get started. She also offers some great tips for public speaking.
