Watch Janet Wu, a multi-media journalist and reporter/anchor for Bloomberg. For Janet, a favorite part of her job is knowing she has the power to make positive change in the world by discovering new information and sharing it with her audience. Another reason girls should consider a career in journalism is because we need to hear a diversity of voices, including the perspectives of young women and girls. Janet’s advice to girls is to remember that every class you take, and every grade you are in, is a once in a lifetime opportunity that you will never be able to repeat.
