Watch Allison Jewett, Flutist and Piccolo player for the Houston Symphony Orchestra, share how she discovered her love of playing her instruments and some amazing “behind the scenes stories” of being a professional musician. She takes us backstage at the Metropolitan Opera where she met Placido Domingo before going on stage. Prior to joining the symphony, she played with the Houston Ballet, Houston Grand Opera, Saint Louis and San Antonio Symphonies, and with several chamber ensembles.
