Bio
Watch Michelle Seubert, Park Ranger at Barr Lake State Park in Colorado, share how she enjoys meeting visitors and making sure that the park is safe, clean and fun for them. One of the coolest features of her park is the family of bald eagles that live there. The full grown eagles are so big that their nest can fit a queen sized mattress inside of it. If working in a park sounds like fun, you can be as young as 13 years old to apply for a summer job. Just check the website for your local or state park to learn about opportunities for being a life guard, trail guide and working in nature centers.
