What Jennifer finds most rewarding about her work is the potential for treating patients with serious diseases or for improving their lives. She’s been able to help friends, family and people she’s met along the way—and made a difference in their lives. Her advice to girls is to focus on learning and “being a sponge.” Jobs in biotechnology are well-compensated, with regular hours, and possibly the chance to travel the world.
