Watch Kristin Slevin, a political consultant at a foundation and political office dedicated to getting more women elected to public office. Previously, she was a program associate; now she’s a deputy field director. She helps the campaigns of women running for office on the senate and governor’s level by giving them tools they need to succeed. Kristin is inspired by the recent influx of women wanting to be leaders in their communities. Her advice to girls: find your passion and work towards it. Girls should consider a career in politics, she says, because it’s a great way to make a difference in people’s lives.
