Watch Tomoko Sekine, a Research Scientist at a cosmetics company. The most rewarding part of her job is when she sees her technology used in a product and that consumers are happy to use it. She believes girls should consider a career as a research scientist because it’s fun making discoveries and creating new products. Her advice is for girls when they begin their career in the workplace. Even when you are asked to do work on something you might not be interested in, go ahead and give it a try and do your best.
