Watch Lisa Hiltbrand, a sixth grade Humanities Teacher and an Oakland 2010-2011 ”Teacher of the Year” at Urban Promise Academy, share why girls should consider becoming teachers and how they'll be able to help create the future. As an educator, she sees the potential in every child and enjoys "planting seeds that will later on blossom in that child’s life." Her advice is to dream big and work hard. It's not enough to just dream… you must figure out the steps to take to get you there, and never stop until you reach your goal.
