Bio
Watch Regina Taylor, Writer, Actor, Director and Golden Globe Winner, discuss her love of words and the gifts of creativity and imagination she inherited from her grandmother and her mother, Leannell. The 1992 Golden Globe Winner for Best Actress in a Television Drama is probably best known for her role as Lily Harper in the acclaimed series “I’ll Fly Away”. She also won an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress for the same role. Although she is multi-talented – an award winning film, stage and television actress and director, we learn that she considers herself first and foremost a writer. Her plays include: Millennium Mambo, A Night in Tunisia, Oo-Bla-Dee, Magnolia, Crowns, The Dreams of Sarah Breedlove and the Trinity River Plays.
