Bio
Watch Tanya Peterson, Executive Director and President of the San Francisco Zoo describe how in her career she gets to work closely with all kinds of animals and educate the public about them. Tanya's favorite Exhibit at the San Francisco Zoo is the African Savanna, which is six acres full of different species all mingling together just like they would in the wilds of Africa. What's most rewarding about her career is the chance to save the species and to connect with children at the zoo, giving her a sense of purpose. Tanya says life is a long race, and having a sense of purpose will help you achieve your lifelong goals.
